Salem, Daly on SDSU-USD rivalry
Sports Web Live will take place Wednesday (Nov. 14) at 4 p.m. with a special look at Saturday’s revival of the SDSU-USD football rivalry.
Mick Garry and I will talk with former USD coach Joe Salem and former SDSU coach Mike Daly about their memories of the series and how the scenario with the schools has changed.
Salem coached USD from 1966-74, going 6-3 against the Jackrabbits, before taking over at the University of Minnesota. Daly coached at SDSU from 1991-96 and was 5-1 against the Coyotes before stepping down.
